Maschine and Lion Sleep

So I’ve noticed that if I leave the Maschine controller connected via USB to the host computer, after waking the host computer up from Sleep the controller always seems to end up in some random state with various pads and menu selections active. This is regardless of whether the Maschine software is running or not. Starting (or restarting the software seems to reset the controller every time, but I’ve had experience in the past where this kind of behavior has damaged the controller. Therefor, my choice is to always unplug the Maschine controller whenever it’s not going to be used for a longer period of time. I really wish devices like these would come witha physical power switch…

(BTW, host computer is a 2011 iMac with OS X 10.7 (Lion))

[Applies to Maschine 1.7]
