Quick but essential tip for working with patterns on the Maschine.

If you’ve laid down a beat or pattern that’s too short for the melody line you want to record, on easy way of extending it’s length is to perform the steps below:

1. On the controller, push and hold down the PATTERN button.
2. While holding down the PATTERN button, push [BUTTON 2], which is now designated as the Double button.

This will double the length of the current pattern, so that if you have a 1 bar beat looping it will be extended to 2 bars, and 2 bars will become 4 and so on.
