Peeps, I’ve come down with a really bad cold.
This is really frustrating since I have the gear set up in our bed room, and so it stares me in the face as I’m trying to get some rest / sleep to get rid of this bug. In the meantime though, I found this awesome BBC documentary on youtube that talks about the early days of synth music in England.
I especially like the first part where they talk about very early pioneers like The Normal, Cabaret Voltair and OMD. The way the early music really oozes of punk yet is clearly influenced by the industrial cleanliness of german pioneers like Kraftwerk resonates deeply with me :). Check it out!
